Enrolment Information & Procedures

​​​The Enrolment Application Form is to be printed and returned with original documentation where applicable. The electronic version of the form can be completed electronically before printing.

Preparatory Year

  • 180206_SMOTC-010SMALL.jpgApplications for enrolment in the Prep Year at St Mary of the Cross can be made up to two years before the anticipated enrolment.   

  • Family interviews, along with the child, are held with the Principal during Term 2 of the year prior to eligibility for attending.

  • Places will be offered (in writing) during June/July. An enrolment fee is ​required to confirm this placement. (This fee is deducted from your fees in the first term of the year.) 

  • Orientation days will be held for all new Prep Year children during Term 4.

Criteria for Enrolment

Children enrolling for Prep Year must turn 5 by 30 June in the year they will complete the Prep Year.  The table below is a guide to when the children are eligible to enrol in the preparatory year at St Mary of the Cross School.

Years 1 to 6

  • Applications for enrolment are given out on request.

  • A family interview, along with the child, will be held with a member of the administration team.

  • Originals of birth, baptismal and immunisation certificates need to be sighted and copies of recent school reports or letters from previous school need to be provided. 

  • Confirmation of enrolment will be by letter.

Application for Enrolment Kit (Prep to Year 6)

The Application for Enrolment Kit contains an Application for Enrolment Form as well as an accompanying Application for Enrolment Notes Booklet.
The Form and Notes Booklet are available, via the links below, in both an electronic and print version.

Electronic Version:

The electronic version of the documents can be downloaded, saved to your own computer and the Application for Enrolment Form completed electronically.  Please note that a complete Application for Enrolment Form is required for each student that you wish to enrol.
Hint:  If applying for enrolment for more than 1 student, save one completed version of the form multiple times and change the relevant particular details for each additional student.

Print Version:

The print version, whilst available electronically, is designed to be downloaded, printed and the Application for Enrolment Form filled in by hand.  Please note that a complete Application for Enrolment Form is required for each student that you wish to enrol.
A copy of the print version of the Application for Enrolment Kit is also available via the school office.
