​​​​Blast off to Prep

St Mary of the Cross would like to invite you and your family to our Prep Readiness Program offered throughout 

Term 3. 

We are excited to host this FREE community program, open to all children and their families who are looking to blast off to Prep in 2024 and beyond!

Starting the Prep journey is an exciting time for you and your child. We understand it can also be a time of unknowns about what will be happening in your child's classroom. We warmly welcome and invite all members of our local community (even if enrolled elsewhere) to take part in a four-session Prep readiness program. Come along and hear from our experienced practitioners to ensure a successful start to your child’s learning journey.​

This event will cover;

• Oral Language, Gross Motor and Fine Motor.
• Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Comprehension and Reading Skills
•  Early Numeracy Skills
•  Social Emotional Readiness – Playing at School.​
